A little about the photographs and the photographer you are going to soon see. My name is Tara L Skagen, during my high school days, many ages ago.. economics class was a requirement and we had to think of a business to start from the very early stages to the very last stages of owning and operating one. As you could probably guess, mine was photography, not a shocker since you have found my website for selling photography!

During this class in high school, owning a photography business seemed a lot harder to accomplish than it does right now, I realize that back then I didn't truly have the photography "addiction" running through my veins, I didn't truly understand what I was wanting out of a photography business. 

NOW  I  TRULY  UNDERSTAND!

As the quote says above. "Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory," this hit home the moment I read it. When I was just 18 I lost my best friend, who just happened to be my cousin, she passed away in a horrific car accident at the young age of 18. This is a moment in my life that changed it forever, and  I felt like photography was calling my name. There just were not enough pictures of her, there were not enough pictures to bring her back, but there were enough pictures to recreate those memories that I hold very dear to my heart!
